We depend on water. To drink, to wash, to eat, to live, Water is one of the core necessities to living. In times of disaster, cities, towns, states, and countries, depend on water trucks to supply their people when conventional means have failed.

Water trucks can literally be lifesavers. A cylindrical, horizontal tank is mounted onto it for the transport of not only water, but for necessary chemicals, gases, and different types of liquids.

Since a wide variety of liquids are to be transported in a water tank body, these vehicles tend to be huge. Some of its less visible distinctions have something to do with its intended use, which can either be pressurized or non-pressurized, insulated or non-insulated, and can be designed to carry single or multiple loads by creating internal divisions within the tank.

Seeing these massive water trucks every day, we fail to recognize how important they are to both everyday existence and to the recuperation of our livelihoods in the wake of disaster.
